SPS Administration shared the most recent draft of the FY'19 budget with the School Committee on Wednesday evening. The Town of Sharon has increased the allocation to the school department from 2.51% to 2.85% which is a .34% increase since the open budget forum that was held on January 17. SPS Administration shared possible reductions to support rendering the School Committee a balanced FY'19 draft budget on February 14. The next Open Budget Forum will be held on Wednesday, February 7 in the School Committee Room at 75 Mountain St. The Sharon community is encouraged to come out and share your thoughts and give input to the School Committee and Adminstration on the continued planning of the FY'19 Budget.
