Visual & Performing Arts
A message from the director:
Hello everyone, allow me a moment to introduce myself. For those who don't know me, I am a product of the Sharon Public Schools. I have lived in Sharon my whole life and I am raising my family here. I have a B.A in Theatre from St. Michael's College, and M.F.A in Acting from Trinity Rep in RI, and I am currently writing a dissertation about the juxtaposition of education and theatre, through Northeastern's Doctoral program. As a teacher, I have taught at Brockton High School in their English and Theatre Departments, at Bridgewater State University, and Stonehill College. I am involved with Un-Common Theatre and MMAS Black Box theatre as a director and a performer and I am still intouch with all of my grad school classmates, who are all making a name for themselves as professional artists, musicians, performers and directors. All of this is to say that I strongly identify as an artist. I speak the language of creativity, and I live by artistic values and ethics. I hope in time you will come to know me as a true ally and friend to the visual and performing arts in Sharon.
