STUDENT DRESS CODE
The administration of each school may establish requirements for dress and appearance of students and state those requirements in the Student Handbook. (Students and parents/guardians are instructed to review and sign off on these handbooks annually.)
The administration is authorized to take action in instances where it believes individual dress does not meet the stated requirements set forth in the Student Handbook.
Students, faculty, and/or parent groups may suggest and encourage appropriate dress for a school event or special occasions (e.g. “spirit day”) provided that students who choose not to participate will not be prevented from attending school or a school function, or otherwise be discriminated against, so long as his/her dress and appearance meet the requirements set forth in the Student Handbook.
