    FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

    The School Committee will provide clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities that support the educational program, are appropriate for the size of the school population, and are economical in terms of maintenance and operational expenses.

    As facilities age or as the program needs or school population changes, it may be necessary to renovate, add on to, demolish, or construct a building. It may be prudent to perform a feasibility study prior to engaging in any of these activities. If the cost of such a project exceeds $500,000, then it must be managed by the Sharon Standing Building Committee.
