MOTOR VEHICLE IDLING
No motor vehicle operator shall idle his/her vehicle on school grounds without good cause, whether or not school is in session. For the purposes of this policy, “school grounds” shall mean in, on or within 100 feet of the real property of the school, including any athletic field or facility, or any playground used for school purposes or functions, and any parking lot appurtenant to such school, athletic field or facility or playground.
Signs will be posted to indicate which areas are within 100 feet of an air intake system.
