    FISCAL ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING

    The Superintendent is responsible for receiving and properly accounting for all funds of the school system.

    The accounting system used by the district will conform with state requirements. Sound accounting practices will be employed, providing for appropriate separation of accounts, and funds.

    The School Committee will receive regular financial reports on the financial condition of the School Department from the Superintendent. Such other financial statements as may be determined necessary by either the Committee or the administration may also be presented or required.
