Any member of the School Committee and the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent may approve payroll warrants by signing. The signature of any one School Committee member is necessary for approval.
Any other general warrant for payment of School Department funds by the Town must be signed by a quorum of School Committee members.
The town treasurer, who also serves as the school department treasurer, must sign all checks drawn against school department funds. No other signature is valid.
