Any member dissatisfied with a ruling of the Chair may appeal it. Such an appeal requires no second and is submitted for an immediate vote to the School Committee. An affirmative vote of the majority of the members present and voting is required for a successful appeal. Any appealable ruling may be appealed only once. During any meeting, a member may make an unlimited number of appeals. However, after five appeals by the same member at the same meeting, the Chair may rule said member’s appeals as dilatory. These rulings will be unappealable.
