File: BEDDC - AMENDMENTS
Motions already on the floor may be amended in two ways. If the members who made and seconded a motion (assuming that the motion has been seconded) agree to an amendment, then the amendment will be adopted without further action by Committee. Such an amendment shall be known as a “friendly amendment.”
If the members who made and seconded a motion do not agree to the amendment, then the amendment is adopted if it is moved, and seconded, and a simple majority (present and voting) vote to accept it.
